URS-PetHep is an oral suspension indicated for the treatment of inflammatory hepatobiliary
diseases that occur with hepatobiliary cholestasis, in dogs and cats. It acts as choleretic,
cytoprotective and immunomodulatory properties

• Ursodeoxycholic acid is a natural bile acid found in small amounts in bile, This compound reduces
the formation of cholesterol in the liver and reduces absorption of cholesterol from the intestines

• Ursodeoxycholic acid also improves the flow of bile in the liver and protects the liver from injury by
other bile salts

• Silymarin is used to treat a number of liver conditions and helps improve the regeneration power of
hepatocytes.
